Hells Canyon All American Road is NE Oregon's premier byway. The route encompasses the entire Wallowa Mountains – One of Oregon’s Seven Wonders! This is a 218 mile journey of spectacular scenery and the road is paved! it includes Hells Canyon Overlook, Wallowa Lake, and the little western-art town of Joseph Oregon, along with several other charming towns of Wallowa, Baker, and Union Counties. Hells Canyon All American Road
Imnaha to Hat Point Lookout:
This scenic drive is the most popular of visitors for a view into Hells Canyon and to see the Seven Devils of Idaho. The road is paved to Imnaha and gravel from there to the Hat Point Lookout. From Imnaha to the Hat Point Lookout it is 23.4 miles on gravel road. The road is maintained but steep in areas
Zumwalt to Buckhorn Loop:
This beautiful scenic loop will take you to the Zumwalt Prairie and the northern edges Wallowa Whitman forest of Wallowa country. Most of this journey is on a well maintained gravel road and the entire loop to Hwy. 3 or Crow Creek Road will take 5 hours. Many visitors cut the time to two hours by driving to the Buckhorn Viewpoint and then doubling back to Enterprise by the same route on the Zumwalt Road.
Flora to Troy Loop:
This scenic drive includes the Joseph Canyon Viewpoint and the historic town of Flora with the old Flora Schoolhouse. The loop will take you down into the Grande Ronde Canyon to Troy.
